OVERVIEW

Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD) faced a perception problem: despite delivering some of Californias safest water, residents associated mineral spots and buildup with poor quality. To rebuild trust, we developed a cinematic, Wes Andersoninspired campaign that reframed hard water as a sign of healthy minerals. By combining humor, empathy, and approachable storytelling, the campaign shifted IRWDs role from a faceless utility to a trusted, neighborly voice. The result turns everyday skepticism into community pride, making tap water something to celebrate.
